we are deeply attached with the problem of Autism in our society. So, we started our journey on 12th Jan 2017 by organizing a Free Autism Identification and Awareness Camp for the Autistic children from the financially backward families. Along with that we distributed blankets to the poor needy peoples as a token of love.
8th March on the occasion of International Women's Day we took an initiative to educate the women on various skills, so that they can become self employed and happily earn their livelihood.
5th June on the occasion of World Environment Day, we tried to make our environment go green by planting various types of trees with the moto One Plant One Life.
On 1st February we marched our feets together with lighting candles in our hand in the memory of the accident victims who lost their lives in a bus accident took place at Daulatabad in Murshidabad.
Year 2018 turned to be a drastic year as DENGUE took a pestilence figure. So on 15th July, to keep our surrounding free of Dengue we distributed Bleaching powder at ward no. 23 of Barhampore Municipal Corporation.
26th August on the celebration of Raksha Bandhan, along with tying Rakhee in Children's hand we took a responsibility to give free education to the poor children.
5th September on the occasion of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan'S birthday and Teachers day we celebrated the day with some teachers who are responsible for our growing future.
14 Nov on the occasion of Children's Day we celebrated the day with the small children.
3rd December on the occasion of World Handicapped Day, we tied Rakhees on the hand of the mentally disabled children. This Rakhees were bond of love that we tied on their wrist.
On successfully completion of 2 years of Ashsray Social Welfare and Cultural Foundation, we arranged a picnic with the Old Age Home inhabitants, who are staying there far away from their loved ones. The entire day we spent with them and last but not the least we distributed blankets among them as they could sleep comfortably.
18 February, on the memory of our Veer Jawans who were brutally killed in terrorist attack on 14th February we organized a candle march . When the whole world was celebrating the day of love, some families lost their loved ones for ever. We prayed for all those brave souls to REST IN PEACE.
8th March on the occasion of International Women's Day we certified those women who successfully completed their course for 2 years, and made themselves self dependent . Now they are working in several small scale industries and became bread earners for their family. We are working on this poor women groups on regular basis. Day by day more women are coming to our organization to join this Self Employment Group.
12 Jan 2018 on First Anniversary of Ashsray Social Welfare and Cultural Foundation, we distributed Blankets to the poor people. Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was there with us along with some other Dignitaries to Present the blankets and woolen garments to the poor people.
15 August on the occasion of Independence Day, we distributed fruits in the children ward of Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital. We do care for those little lives who were admitted there for treatments.
12 January 2020 on the 3rd Anniversary of Ashsray Social Welfare and Cultural Foundation we distributed blankets to the homeless people, who spent their winter nights under flyovers and footpaths.

Today, 12th January is the 158th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. And on this holy day, the path of ′′ Ashsray Social Welfare and Cultural Foundation ′′ started. Today ′′ Ashsray ′′ has completed it's 5th year of the journey. Every year the ′′ Ashsray ′′ goes forward through various social service works. Today a program was organized by ′′ Ashsray ′′ on the occasion of Swamiji's 158th birth anniversary at Narayanpur, Rajarhat. The special guest at this program was Mr. Tapas Chatterjee, Member of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation Administrative Board, Maharaj of Bishnupur Ramakrishna Mission, Superintendent of Narayanpur Hospital Dr. Utpal Goswami and Secretary of ′′ Ashsray Shantanu Sinha Sir. On behalf of ′′ Ashsray ′′ Shantanu Sinha handed over bedsheets and pillow covers for all wards of Narayanpur Hospital to the Superintendent of the Hospital.
